Basin Lure and Fly Anglers Inc. is a social association of like minded recreational anglers that regularly fish the waters of St Georges Basin and its tributaries, specialising in the use of artificial lures and flys
The club fosters and encourages the use of Catch and Release and other sustainable fishing practices by its members and promotes these practices to the general public.
Members are supported through information sharing practices, particularly members new to fishing with lures and flys.
Family involvement is a club priority and endeavours are made to ensure events and activities are family oriented.
Supporting St Georges Basin and its environs through fundraising activities is practiced and specific funding programs are developed on an annual basis.
The club provides assistance to NSW Fisheries (DPI) through the collection of regular catch data. Members practice and support all NSW Fisheries Rules and Regulations.
