Great work boys both of you finishing in the top 10. Not an easy effort against some of those teams.

Look forward to reading a bit of a post on the proceedings please.

hey guys , thanks for the support and good wishes, great to see. Well the place was fishing ve.......eerrrry tough as you can tell by the bags,or lack of. A fair few of the teams were actually locals and they didn't manage their limit so that says it all. Webbe and i pre fished the friday and only managed 2 legals although one was a stonker of around 1.4 kg.
Anyways we headed to iron cove first thing saturday and nailed a 940 gr fish in the first half hour, preceded by a heap of just unders and we were stressing out. We tried everything we could think of and just couldn't crack a legal. I did get dusted on a wharf by one. Then with 10 minutes of fishing time remaining the tide finally started to move for the first time that day and i pinned a 1.19kg beast at the entrance of the Lane Cove river and we pretty much had to head back. We were sitting in 11th place with our 2 fish on day one. Day 2 we headed for deeper water and fished some rocky drop offs and some boats in many different bays and put a bag together which was a great feeling after such a frustrating day one. We jumped to 7th place which we were happy with after only catching 7 out of our ten fish. The boys from Berkely ( Mango and Towner) put on a great show and were really well spoken. They have a knack of making you feel completely at ease when up on stage, even when there are thousands of people looking on, everything went off without a hint of trouble and i'm sure the BIA would have been more than impressed with the outcome. Had a great time catching up with all the other teams and meeting some guys that i hadn't met before, didn't come across anyone who wasn't there to have fun which is what it's all about! Great job and great series, will be there next year to try and improve on the result and have a heap more fun.
Well done to Mark and Adrian on a great win, Cheers Gillie

well done gillie and webbee on kicking my arse again.we fished lane cove on the run in on sat and got jack, leary scabbed one in the middle of the river just before lunch and that was it. went up the parra in the arvo and got three more little ones, and dropped one about 30 a couple of inches from the net with about 10min to go, if it wasnt for the 26 tip rule we would of only ended up with two.
sunday went staihgt up the parra and had bag by 9 with a couple of upgrades, after that the bite shut down for us so went lookn for stonkers under jetties(and miricle 7kg bag)leary got a kiloish brim from under jetty and i donated about a kilo of lead in jig heads to the bottom of poles and things.
had a great weekend at a top notch run comp.well done to the bets organisers hope you can make it an annual thing.
a big thanks to scotty for all your much appreciated support.i forgot to menion if you tell him hes hot he will give you %50 off, or probablly just laugh in your face.
Thanks to the south coast cheer squad for travelling to Sydney.
Also heres a good plug for engel rotomold eskys, the 60litre job i got for tenth blew out of the boat at 110kph on the f6 near the nan tein temple, got to albion park rail looked in the rear veiw mirror and coulnt see it, pulled over lynette jumpped out for a better look and it was gone.chucked a ueey and 20min later found it on the side of the road in the dark in the pissing down rain.there was a tiny bit of gravel rash and bit of ding in the lid where i reckon its bounced off the front of a car or sharpy sat on it while i wasnt lookn. looking forward to drinking a couple of VBs out of it this weekend. 8)

LOL thats gold Grant. I knew they were a tough esky but I wouldn't of expected much to be left after leaving your boat at 110 kph.

I'm off to visit the inlaws this weekend down at Dalmeny. The upside is he is a retire pro fisho that use to work Montague for kings (fingers crossed the weather is good). I'm towing the Poostick down so I plan on getting my first look at Tuross at the same time.

Enjoy those VB's Grant. Be careful though as once the esky gets low Scotty might just actually look hot!

Happy birthday mate.

Your going to have to buy one Scooter as it is clear you have none in your house either.

I'm an oil painting and your a baby's finger in the nappy, smeared on the wall painting :D :D :D :D

Just three short weeks to go. I hope the big fish will be out to play.

On a brighter note there have been some XOS EPs about down there at the moment.
