MONTHLY COMPETITION
Every month Basin Lure and Fly Anglers holds a club monthly outing, predominately on St Georges Basin (however away weekends are scheduled throughout the year). This outing is held on the weekend following the second Wednesday of the month.
Anglers can fish from 12:01am on Saturday morning until midday on Sunday when we meet for a BBQ at a nominated location.
Anglers fish for their best 3 bream, 3 flathead and 1 of any other species listed on the rules. More information can be found by following the below link:
SQUIDGIE SOUTHERN BREAM SERIES
In 2012 sponsors of this event include Shimano, Hobie Fishing, Lowrance, Mako Eyewear, Tackleworld, Atomic, Edgewater powerboats, Chillco Coolers, Fishing World, Flowrite, Bundaberg Rum, Damiki, Southern Insight, BLA, BRP Evinrude, Skeeter boats, Warren Keelan Photography and Ecogear.
This competition runs seperate sections for power boats and kayaks.
Cash and prizes paid for places will vary depending on entries received for each event. There will also be a prize for Biggest Bream at each event and also lucky draw prizes.
